We are a retired professional couple, easygoing and active. Electrical engineer with own business for 20 yrs and Senior Teacher. We are non-smoking, neat, clean and tidy and treat other property as we do our own. We have visited most countries in the world and thoroughly enjoy travelling and good company. Recently returned from the Baltic area with visits to Russia, Norway, Germany etc. Our grandchildren live in Melbourne, Sydney & Perth and we would love to see them more often and swapping makes it easy. We love the area in which we live, it is close to all major amenities yet has a quiet semi-rural, peaceful atmosphere. Nights out at various theatres and concerts with great dining experiences both at Brisbane and the Gold Coast are often enjoyed. We are social drinkers and non smokers. About Our Home

At the Northern end of the Gold Coast with panoramic views of the canal and up to Mt Tambourine, we own a near new, modern very livable home. The home is double insulated with ducted air conditioning so always comfortable year round. There is a heated spa on the back deck overlooking the canal. Our home is about half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast Airports in Queensland, Australia about 40 minutes to either. Two master bedrooms, one on the waterfront and the other is situated in the front of the house for privacy. Walk in dressing rooms and fully tiled en suites for both rooms. The kitchen is fabulous, modern, stainless steel with granite bench tops. The media room has a projector and 5 channel sound system, multi disc CD player and DVD player. Large screen TV and stereo are in the lounge room which overlooks the canal. A gas BBQ is on the deck. along with a tiled alfresco area with fans, comfortable lounges and a large outdoor dining area. The 3rd bedroom has two single beds including a king single. The bathroom consisting of a large bath with private garden and separate toilet is adjacent. A remote controlled garage with security gates completes the home. The property is fully fenced with child proof gates so it is safe for little ones. We have Grandchildren so some toys and DVD's are available. The Coomera river is a fabulous resource with the Broadwater and hundreds of islands to explore. Fish and crabs have been caught from the pontoon. While we have no pool, there is a spa and a fabulous council pool complex only minutes away with dedicated kids areas and a 25mtr pool.

Our Location

We live in a quiet, friendly canal area on the Coomera River with easy access to the Broadwater A lake adjoins the estate with great walks around it and a kid’s playground. Wonderful neighbours abound. We are only minutes from major shopping centers and entertainment. 3 Minutes to our local shops comprising Drs, Chemists, with Woolworths, Aldi, Bunnings etc. just 5 minutes away. Only 10 minutes to Dream World, White Water World, Wet & Wild, Movie World, and R.M.Williams Outback Spectacular. 25 minutes to Sea World and Surfers Paradise and World famous beaches. Choices are surf or family beaches with plenty to choose from. The beautiful Mt Tambourine and the Scenic Rim is a pleasant 30 minute drive. Look west and see the remains of the volcano that gives us the topography today. Or, drive up to O'Rielly's retreat and take the sky walk among the birds. A truly spectacular part of the Great Dividing Range.

Other Comments

We have a gorgeous 12yr old Spoodle with a wonderful, happy nature who simply adores company. We can put the dog in a kennel if you feel you'd rather. Local rail station is about 3 kilometers away. Either of two vehicles may be available as part of the swap. Both have GPS and all the usual inclusions of the marque. The boat, for insurance reasons is not included in a swap.
