Introducing
We are Peter and Maggie, retired but not retiring. We have exchanged many times worldwide but now would enjoy exploring our closer region. We love the beach and Peter is a keen but untalented golfer.
About Our Home
Our home is in the Pacific Harbour golf estate on beautiful Bribie Island, one hour’s drive from Brisbane and its domestic and international airports. It is modern, open plan, with all you might want for a relaxing holiday. The screened al fresco area with barbeques, dining table and adjacent swimming pool is where you will spend much of your time, with the separate media room a few paces away so you miss nothing on Foxtel cable TV. Ducted reverse-cycle aircon and ceiling fans will ensure you are comfortable on cooler or warmer days. The office has an Imac with fibre cable connection so you can keep in touch with friends and family.
There are two double bedrooms and a king single. All have ceiling fans as well as ducted air conditioning, and the master has an ensuite and walk in wardrobe.

Our Location
Bribie Island is about midway between Noosa on the Sunshine Coast and Surfers Paradise on the Golf Coast (about 90 minutes drive) Banksia Beach has lovely waterside leisure areas with tree lined walking tracks and unspoilt beaches. The local shopping centre (a few minutes drive or ten on the bikes) has all the everyday needs, with a more comprehensive shopping centre about ten minutes drive away. The lifestyle is laid-back as you would expect, but there is much to see and do on and around lovely Bribie. Pumicestone Passage is a few minutes drive away and is excellent for boating, fishing and swimming. Ten minutes to the eastern side of the island is Woorim surf beach. A five-minute walk brings you to the Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club, with first class dining and excellent bars. And the golf! Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club is rated as one of Australia’s best public-access courses. It is both beautiful and challenging. Visitors are most welcome and can join in the competitions or just play casual golf.
